1. Set Your Global Data Generation Parameters
- Rows:
- Purpose: Define the total number of data rows you want to generate.
- Usage: Enter your desired number in the “Rows” input field.
- Boundary: The tool automatically enforces a minimum of 1 row and a maximum of 100,000 rows. If you enter values outside this range, they will be adjusted to the closest boundary.
- Locale:
- Purpose: Select the geographic locale for your generated data (e.g., names, addresses, phone numbers will reflect this locale).
- Usage: Choose your preferred locale from the “Locale” dropdown menu.
2. Configure Your Columns
The core of the generator lies in defining your data columns.
Adding a New Column:
- Purpose: Add a new field to your dataset.
- Usage: Click the “➕ Add column” button.
- Default: New columns are automatically named “Column #” (e.g., “Column 1”, “Column 2”) and default to the “Serial Number” data type.
